Meeting with TURKPA observers at the parliamentary elections

Nur-Sultan, January 8, 2021 – First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Shakhrat Nuryshev held a meeting with the observer mission of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-Speaking States (TURKPA), which arrived in Kazakhstan to observe the elections to the Majilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, the observers were informed about the electoral campaign and some electoral procedures of our country. Along with that, the cooperation within the organization was discussed with representatives of TURKPA.

TURKPA was established on November 21, 2008, on the initiative of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan – Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev. The headquarters is located in Baku. Members of this international organization include Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
