Citizens of Kazakhstan can visit Oman without a visa

The Government of Oman has announced the introduction of a 10-day visa-free regime for citizens of 103 countries, including the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In accordance with the requirements, citizens of Kazakhstan must present the following documents when crossing Oman’s border:

  1. Hotel booking confirmation;
  2. Health insurance for the period of stay;
  3. Return air ticket;
  4. Passport with a valid visa for one of the following countries - Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, Japan or the Schengen area.

It should be stated that the visa-free stay in the country cannot be extended, and violation of these rules entails a fine of RO 10 (approximately 26 US dollars) for each overdue day.

At the same time, we inform you that in order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, on December 21,2020, the Government of Oman decided to close all state borders (air, land and sea) for the period from 01.00 am on December 22 until 00.59 am on December 29, 2020.
