OSCE/ODIHR deployed a Mission in Kazakhstan

Nur-Sultan, December 8, 2020 - First Deputy Foreign Minister Shakhrat Nuryshev met with the head of the OSCE/ODIHR Election Observation Mission for the parliamentary elections in Kazakhstan, Yaroslav Domanski.

During the conversation, Shakhrat Nuryshev noted Kazakhstan's constructive cooperation with the OSCE, as well as the intention to hold the country’s upcoming election in accordance with high international standards. In this regard, he stressed Kazakhstan's readiness to provide all necessary assistance to the Mission in the election observation process.

Yaroslav Domanski positively noted the established interaction between ODIHR and the government agencies of Kazakhstan, including the Central Election Commission and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and gave thanks for the assistance in organizing the work of the Mission in the country.
