The priorities of Kazakhstan's Chairmanship in the CICA discussed in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

NUR-SULTAN, October, 22 2020 - First Deputy Foreign Minister Shakhrat Nuryshev met with Kairat Sarybay, Executive Director of the Secretariat of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Ceasures in Asia (CICA).

During the talks, the parties discussed the priorities of Kazakhstan's Chairmanship in the CICA, in particular the practical implementation of the initiatives of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, announced during the Dushanbe Summit in 2019. In addition, they exchanged views on the CICA Secretariat's 2021 Work Plan.

The parties agreed to continue to work closely to implement the goals and objectives of the Conference.
