Kazakhstan and Russia celebrate the day of the establishment of diplomatic relations

October 22 marks the 28th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Over the past years, based on the good traditions of friendship and mutual respect that bind the peoples of Kazakhstan and Russia, bilateral relations have reached a high level of strategic partnership and alliance.

At the present stage, the strategic partnership is based on the Treaty on Good-Neighborliness and Alliance in the 21st Century of November 11, 2013. Political dialogue and effective collaboration in trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural, humanitarian and other fields are developing in a dynamic manner.

Cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, CSTO, CIS, SCO, UN and other multilateral structures is an essential element of developing a strategic partnership between Nur-Sultan and Moscow based on trust and mutual understanding.

Regular meetings and negotiations of heads of state, government, ministries and departments, and business structures play a leading role in strengthening the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Russia.

Further development of the entire range of relations between Russia and Kazakhstan, and constructive interaction in addressing topical issues on the international agenda, undoubtedly meet the fundamental interests of the peoples of the two countries.
