Ambassador met with Acting Administrator of Foreign Agricultural Service at the USDA.

On June 8, 2021 Ambassador Yerzhan Ashikbayev met with Daniel Whitley, Acting Administrator of Foreign Agricultural Service at the USDA.

A meaningful conversation regarding the attained level of bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture as well as future perspectives on investment projects led by «Valmont Industries» and «Tyson Foods» has taken place at the course of the meeting.   

Concurrently, the parties discussed veterinary and phytosanitary proceedings, opportunities for mutual interaction between scientific research institutions and universities regarding R&D and farmers training, and joint activity in combatting climate change impact in the agro-industry.
