On May 13, 2021 Ambassador Yerzhan Ashikbayev held a virtual meeting with Khush Choksy, Senior Vice President, Middle East, Turkey and Central Asia at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

A meaningful conversation regarding the level of partnership accomplished with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce serving as a successful institutional platform for mutually beneficial trade and investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and the USA has taken place at the meeting.   

Concurrently, counterparts discussed preparation course to the Kazakhstan-U.S. Trade and Investment Forum, dates of the visit of the U.S. Trade Mission to Kazakhstan, and joint actions aimed at Kazakhstan’s graduation from Jackson-Vanick amendment along with the establishment of PNTR.
