Bolashak program highly rated by U.S. think tanks

Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the U.S. H.E. Mr. Yerzhan Ashikbayev met with Daniel F. Runde, Senior Vice President Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). |

During the conversation, Ambassador Ashikbayev briefed Daniel Runde about the ongoing political reforms in Kazakhstan aimed at further democratization and interaction with civil society. Ambassador also mentioned about the Kazakh vaccine "QazVac" and the process of its registration in the WHO. Both parties exchanged views on the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the global economic recovery.

In turn, Dan Runde noted the uniqueness of the Bolashak program initiated by the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy N.Nazarbayev and stressed that the Kazakhstani model is currently one of the best in the world. He also expressed desire to take part in the upcoming Astana Economic Forum and readiness for cooperation with Kazakhstan.

The parties agreed to hold a joint event dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and diplomatic relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the United States.
