About the meeting at the Confederation of Lithuanian Industrialists

A meeting was held at the Confederation of Industrialists of Lithuania with the participation of the Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairat Torebaev, Ambassador Timur Urazaev, co-chairs and members of the Kazakh-Lithuanian Business Council.

Participants in the event, which took place on the eve of the 14th meeting of the bilateral Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, discussed issues of further development of interaction between Kazakhstan and Lithuania in the field of transport and logistics, diversification of the structure of trade turnover, investment and other sectors of the economy.

The possibility of increasing piggyback transportation in the East-West direction was noted, which opened with the entry last year of the Lithuanian railway company LTG Cargo into the International Association of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route.

The work plan of the Business Council for the coming period, the organization of meetings of business circles in B2B format, and other joint events were also considered.
