Meeting with the President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation

Ambassador of Kazakhstan Timur Urazayev and the President of the International Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation Gunay Afandiyeva discussed cooperation issues in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.

G.Afandiyeva spoke about the work carried out by the Foundation to preserve, popularize and transfer to future generations the cultural and spiritual values of the Turkic peoples.

The Kazakh diplomat, noting the importance of the projects implemented by the Fund, offered the Embassy's assistance in further work to promote the cultural heritage and ancient and rich history of Kazakhstan and the Turkic peoples in general.

The interlocutors agreed on cooperation between the Embassy and the Foundation in the implementation of joint projects in order to expand the knowledge of Lithuanians about the history, art, and culture of the peoples of the Turkic states.
