Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan met with the Chairperson of the IAEA Board of Governors

Vienna, February 26, 2025 – Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan to the International Organizations in Vienna Mukhtar Tileuberdi met with the Chairperson of the IAEA Board of Governors, Permanent Representative of Ghana Matilda Aku Alomatu Osei-Agyeman.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the agenda of the upcoming session of the IAEA Board of Governors to be held in Vienna on 3 – 7 March 2025.

The Permanent Representative of Kazakhstan informed the Chairperson of the IAEA decision-making body about the plans to further advance the issue of restoring sovereign equality of Member States in the IAEA as part of the implementation of Kazakhstan’s resolution GC(67)/RES/15 of 29 September 2023.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue working together to promote fair and equitable representation of all member states in the IAEA decision-making bodies.
