Kazakh Films Sparked Great Interest Among Austrian Audience

Vienna, December 10–11, 2024 – As part of the celebration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Austria organized screenings of local films "Almaty, I Love You" and "The Dawn of the Great Steppe".

The two-day screenings at the Artis International cinema were attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, Austrian creative intelligentsia, and Kazakhs living in Austria.

At the opening ceremony of the Days of Kazakh Cinema, a popular blogger and polyglot residing in Austria, Yuji Natsuma (@yuji_beleza), was awarded the honorary badge of "Kazakhstan Tourism Ambassador." Widely known for his travel publications, Yuji actively shares his impressions of Kazakhstan, attracting the attention of his followers to the country.

This event marked another step in Kazakhstan's cultural diplomacy aimed at strengthening mutual understanding and friendly relations with foreign partners.
