Upcoming parliamentary elections were discussed with Kazakh students in Vienna

Vienna, 7 March 2023 - The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Austria hosted a hybrid meeting with a group of Kazakhstan students ahead of parliamentary elections.

The head of the diplomatic mission H.E. Mr. Alibek Bakayev acquainted the students with constitutional reforms initiated by President Tokayev, the main innovations of the current electoral process, and the work of political parties.

The Ambassador stressed that the renewed Parliament would be more representative and active, presenting a platform for energetic debates on the most pressing issues.

Following the meeting, Mr. Bakayev invited students to actively exercise their constitutional rights on the day of the forthcoming elections and participate in establishing a Just Kazakhstan.
