The delegation of Kazakhstan as a member of the UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND) participated in its 64th session

The delegation of Kazakhstan as a member of the UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND) participated in its 64^th session by voting on the WHO recommendations on the inclusion of new substances in the control lists of the UN anti-drug conventions, as well as by making a national statement.

All recommendations were adopted without objection by a majority vote. In addition, the Commission adopted of a joint statement on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the world drug problem, as well as 4 resolutions on drug treatment, rehabilitation and social reintegration, alternative development and other issues.
