Issues of Cooperation with Kazakhstan in Water Sciences Discussed at Meeting in UNESCO

Paris, 24 January 2024 - Permanent Delegate of Kazakhstan to UNESCO Askar Abdrakhmanov met with Dr Abou Amani, Director of Division of Water Sciences at UNESCO.

In the conversation, they touched upon the issues of cooperation within the International Hydrological Program, continued studies in management of water resources in our region, some issues related to the activities of the Central Asian Regional Glaciological Centre as UNESCO’s category II institution, as well as some relevant regional and global initiatives of Kazakhstan.
