The Ambassador of Kazakhstan held a virtual meeting with the Minister of Road and Transport of Mongolia.

On March 4, 2021 Ambassador Zh.Adilbayev held a virtual meeting with Minister of Road and Transport Development of Mongolia L.Khaltar. The two sides exchanged views on deepening comprehensive cooperation in the field of air transport, railways and highways.

In particular, in the context of the pandemic, the resumption of international flight «Almaty-Ulgii», the opening of flights «Ulgii-Uskemen», the introduction of railway equipment in the domestic market of Mongolia and the launch of cargo air transportation between the two countries were discussed.

The parties worked out ways to implement the protocol decisions of the 8th session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation (November 25, 2021).

There were also exchanged views on the future use of the shortest highway between Kazakhstan and Mongolia.
