The Head of State held a meeting with Chairman of the Great State Hural of Mongolia Dashzegviyn Amarbayasgalan

Astana, September 5, 2025 – President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized that the first visit of Dashzegviin Amarbayasgalan as the Chairman of the Parliament to our country will contribute to further strengthening of bilateral relations.

The head of our state reported that following his visit to Mongolia in October last year, intergovernmental and interdepartmental relations reached a qualitatively new level. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also mentioned his recent conversation with the President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh on the sidelines of the SCO summit in China.

“Mongolia is our reliable and important partner in Asia. Strong friendship and strategic partnership between the two countries have deep roots, which is due to the similarity of our traditions, culture and common history. Therefore, we are ready to work together to deepen relations,” the Head of State said.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev pointed out the importance of increasing inter-parliamentary contacts. Kazakhstan is interested in comprehensive strengthening of strategic partnership with friendly Mongolia.

In turn, the Chairman of the State Great Khural of Mongolia Dashzegviin Amarbayasgalan thanked Kassym-Jomart Tokayev for the warm welcome.

- I am convinced that this visit will mark the beginning of a new chapter in the development of bilateral relations. I believe that today's meeting will contribute to further strengthening of friendship and brotherhood between our peoples, whose history and customs are closely intertwined with the nomadic civilization. I note with great satisfaction the intensification of visits and negotiations at the highest level between our countries in recent years, - said the Chairman of the State Great Khural of Mongolia.
