On further strengthening measures for the prevention of coronavirus infection in the Republic of Kazakhstan

Dear Citizen!

 

In connection with the announcement of an outbreak of a new type of coronavirus infection in the Peoples Republic of China and in order to prevent the importation and spread of infection, as well as to ensure the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population in the Republic of Kazakhstan, I ask you to observe the following preventive measures in order to protect your health:

• measure body temperature at least twice a day on a daily basis;
• ventilate the rooms at least twice a day;
• carry out wet cleaning on a daily basis;
• wash hands often with soap;
• use separate dishes, separate personal hygiene products (towel, soap, toothpaste, razors, etc.);
• people with fever should not visit public places and seek medical attention in a timely manner, as well as with symptoms of an acute respiratory infection, cough etiquette should be practiced (keep distance, cover your mouth when coughing and sneeze into disposable napkins or into elbow or clothes and wash your hands).

 

Preventive measures for the population

 

1. Measure body temperature at least twice a day on a daily basis;
2. Follow preventive measures:
   • ventilate the rooms at least twice a day;
   • carry out wet cleaning on a daily basis;
   • wash hands often with soap;
   • use separate dishes, separate personal hygiene products (towel, soap, toothpaste, razors, etc.);
3. Persons with fever over X degrees in Celcius do not visit public places and seek medical attention in a timely manner;
4. Call 1406 and report suspected cases and lack of medical care.
