Nauryz Meiram was celebrated in Thailand

Bangkok, Mach 23, 2024 – Nauryz meiramy was celebrated at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Thailand. The event was attended by Kazakhstanis living and working in Thailand, representatives of the KazThaiAlliance Association, as well as diplomats of Kazakhstan.

The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Thailand Arman Issetov congratulated all those present on the holiday and noted that starting this year Nauryz in Kazakhstan is celebrated in a new format "Nauryznama", which takes place from March 14 to 23 and every day is dedicated to a certain celebration.

"Nauryz is a vivid symbol of a rich spiritual heritage, a unique national code and a continuous succession of generations. Nauryz meiramy, reflecting the great culture and rich traditions of our people, unite representatives of all ethnic groups living in Kazakhstan," the Ambassador noted.

During the event, participants were able to enjoy the sound of the Kazakh national instrument "dombra", perform Kazakh folk songs, see the ceremony "Tusau Keser" and actively participate in the game "Arkan Tartu". At the end of the evening, the guests of the holiday tasted Kazakh national dishes.
