The National Library of Thailand hosted the presentation of Abai Qunanbayuly's books

On December 30, the National Library of the Kingdom of Thailand hosted a presentation of the books entitled "Book of Words" and "Selected Poems" published in English by the Great Kazakh poet Abai Qunanbayuly.

It was attended by the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan H.E. Ms. Raushan Yesbulatova, the General-Director of the Department of Fine Arts, the Ministry of Culture of the Kingdom of Thailand Mr. Prateep Phengtako, representatives of other government agencies, as well as the Heads of several Diplomatic missions accredited in Bangkok.

Opening the presentation, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan drew attention to the fact that Abai tirelessly cared about the education of the Kazakh nation, noting that education serves as a bridge between the people and the government.

A number of Abai's works in Kazakh, Thai, English and Russian were read out to the participants of the event.

Following the event, several copies of the books entitled "Book of Words" and "Selected Poems" were donated to the National Library of the Kingdom of Thailand.
