Ambassador of Kazakhstan Presents Credentials to the President of Cyprus

Nicosia, November 5, 2021 - The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Cyprus (non-resident) Satybaldy Burshakov presented letter of credence to His Excellency President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Anastasiades.

During the ceremony held in the Presidential Palace, the Ambassador conveyed the best wishes of His Excellency President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Nicos Anastasiadis and, in the context of the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence, informed him about the socio-economic and political reforms in our country.

Noting the solidarity and successful interaction of the two countries in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, the diplomat thanked the President of Cyprus for the humanitarian and medical assistance provided by the government and Cypriot companies to Kazakhstan.

President Anastasiadis, highly evaluated the level of bilateral relations between our countries and expressed readiness to assist in the development of cooperation between Kazakhstan and the European Union and invited the President of Kazakhstan to visit Cyprus.
