Press conference on the Annual Address of the President of Kazakhstan was held in Tehran

Tehran, September 10, 2024 – A press conference dedicated to the Annual Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan "Just Kazakhstan: Law and Order, Economic Growth, Public Optimism" was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Tehran.

The event was attended by representatives of reputable Iranian media (newspapers “Iran News”, “Iran Daily”, “Asia”, “Sharg” and “Khabar Online” Agency).

During the press conference, Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Iran Ontalap Onalbayev related about the main directions touched upon in the President's Address to the people of Kazakhstan, including monetary policy, further improvement of the investment climate, full use of the country's industrial potential, infrastructure development, gradual increase in the country's human resources, strengthening national health, modernization of the social support system, improving the environmental situation, increasing the efficiency of public administration, and affirming the ideology of law and order. In addition, representatives of the media were familiarized with the large-scale reforms being carried out in our country.

The Ambassador informed the participants of the meeting that a new course of development of Kazakhstan has been outlined, a new impetus has been given to economic diversification and a new investment period has begun.

Referring to the great potential of Kazakhstan in various fields, the Kazakh diplomat noted that a positive solution to the issues raised in the Message will open up new opportunities for the rapid development of the country.

In addition, O. Onalbayev drew the attention of journalists to the bilateral relations between Kazakhstan and Iran in the trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural and humanitarian spheres and emphasized the great potential for strengthening mutual cooperation.
