On May 5, 2024, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Islamic Republic of Iran O.Onalbayev met with the Director General of the Department of Multilateral and International Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran S.Alavi.

During the meeting were discussed collaboration within the Economic Cooperation Organization, of which Kazakhstan and Iran are members, particularly issues in the fields of trade and economics, transport and transit, tourism, etc.

In addition, the current key ECO program document ECO Vision 2025, and the level of implementation of its tasks were considered.
