President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev paid a working visit to Khiva

On April 5, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, at the invitation of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, arrived on a working visit to the city of Khiva (Uzbekistan). President Shavkat Mirziyoyev met the Head of State at the airport.

During the visit, an informal meeting of the leaders of the two countries took place, at which issues of further strengthening the Kazakh-Uzbek strategic partnership and alliance were discussed, the regional agenda and issues of interaction in international structures were considered.

A joint visit to the HIVA GILAMLARI carpet weaving factory, the exhibition of industrial goods of Uzbekistan and cultural sites of Khiva also took place.
