Kazakhstan studies Estonian experience in the IT sphere

April 10, 2023 - Delegation of representatives of Kazakh state bodies, including heads of structural divisions of the Office of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan and «National Information Technologies» JSC, visited Estonia.

During the visit, the delegation plans to study Estonian experience in the field of digital data management, development of e-government and the introduction of digital platforms in the structure of public services. In turn, Estonian side will be presented with Kazakh project "Smart Data Ukimet" and experience in implementing some solutions for the development of the social sphere.

As part of the exchange of experience, the delegation will hold separate meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Economics and Communications of the Republic of Estonia, Estonian Association of Information Technologies and Telecommunications, State Information System Department and a number of Estonian IT companies. Such contacts will allow the parties to identify common interests and share their vision of the latest trends in the digital industry.

It is expected that the visit will consolidate the bilateral dialogue in the field of IT, which has received significant development in recent years - in 2021-2022, parties exchanged visits of five delegations, which contributed to the promotion of Kazakh-Estonian cooperation in the digital industry and implementation of a number of joint projects.
