Diplomats are ready to intensify Kazakh-Bulgarian relations

Sofia, September 12, 2023 – In order to discuss topical issues on the bilateral agenda, Ambassador of Kazakhstan Viktor Temirbayev held a meeting with Director of the «Eastern Europe and Central Asia» Directorate of the MFA of Bulgaria Ivan Pavlov.

During the abovementioned meeting, the current state and prospects of strengthening Kazakh-Bulgarian interstate relations in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres were discussed. The diplomats noted the existence of significant potential for further upward development of friendly relations between the two countries, as well as within the framework of Kazakhstan's cooperation with the European Union.

In addition, the parties considered in detail all the key aspects of preparation for the Kazakh-Bulgarian political consultations in autumn 2023 in Astana, and expressed confidence in their successful conduct.

At the end of the meeting, diplomats reached on maintaining close ties and coordination on all issues of the bilateral agenda.
