About a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria

Sofia, September 1, 2022 - The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan T.Izbastin met with Acting Minister of Environmental protection and water resources of the Republic of Bulgaria Ms. R.Karamfilovа-Blagova.

During the meeting, issues of interaction in the sphere of ecology and environmental protection, as well as cooperation between the two countries within the framework of the Charter on the «Green Bridge» partnership program were discussed.

For reference: The «Green Bridge» partnership program is an international environmental initiative of Kazakhstan for the transition of countries to a green economy based on a multilateral partnership with business, the public and international cooperation. To organize the partnership in 2013, a special document was signed in Astana - the Charter on the Partnership Program «Green Bridge». At the moment, 17 countries are members of the Charter (Albania, Belarus, Bulgaria, Germany, Georgia, Spain, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Poland, Russia, Tajikistan, Finland, Montenegro, Sweden, Serbia and the UAE).
