Information on the resumption of the unilateral visa-free regime

Dear citizens,

On February 7, 2022, changes were made to the Procedure for crossing the state border of Kazakhstan, which is applied during the quarantine period. In particular, citizens of countries with a visa-free regime (57 states), including Bulgaria, are allowed to enter/transit to/ through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan through international airports.

Thus, Bulgarian citizens with a negative PCR test (valid for 72 hours) can enter Kazakhstan for up to 30 days without additional permits and visas.

Please note that citizens of Bulgaria and Kazakhstan require a negative PCR test to enter the country.
