A round table dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence was held in Sofia

Оn September 16, 2021 а round table dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence was held in Sofia with the participation of representatives of the foreign diplomatic corps, the Bulgarian public, journalists, expert communities, the diaspora and a photo exhibition on "Kazakhstan recognized by the international community" was opened.

During the event, Ambassador of Kazakhstan Temirtay Izbastin highlighted the main milestones over the past three decades of the country's historical breakthrough in carrying out state reforms, creating a diversified market economy, a unique model of social harmony and national unity.

The guests of the event stressed the importance of the round table, noting the significant achievements of Kazakhstan in the socio-economic sphere, as well as in the development of domestic and foreign policy.

In particular, the Cultural adviser of the Russian Embassy Alexey Novoselov noted the high pace of development of the country and the purposefulness of Kazakhstan in promoting friendly relations in the international arena. He stressed that Kazakhstan is an example for many countries in building relations with neighboring countries in many areas of interaction.

Prominent scientist Hristo Smolenov welcomed the course of the leadership of Kazakhstan on the implementation of a socially and spiritually oriented policy, through the introduction of the basic principles of the "Rukhani Zhangyru" program. Kazakhstan's successful experience in strengthening interethnic and interfaith harmony was particularly noted. representatives of the Kazakh diaspora and the Bulgarian public also spoke at the round table.

The participants of the round table got acquainted with the photo exhibition "Kazakhstan recognized by the international community", which presents photographic materials and paintings about the achievements of the country during the years of independence.
