On May 24, 2021, in honor of the Day of Bulgarian Enlightenment, Culture and Slavic Writing, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan T.Izbastin took part in the solemn ceremony of laying a wreath to the monument to "Cyril and Methodius" in the museum "Cyrillic Courtyard" in Pliska.

In addition, the ceremony of laying flowers at the memorial plate to Shokan Ualikhanov, installed in the "Courtyard of the Cyrillic Alphabet", was also held.
