The Joint-Stock Company "Kazakhstan International Development Agency "KazAID" was established in Kazakhstan

By the decree of the Government of Kazakhstan, the Joint-Stock Company "Kazakhstan International Development Agency "KazAID" was established as an organization under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan with 100% state participation.

This framework will make it possible to institutionalize and systematize the national system of official development assistance in practice.

Currently, work is underway to register this Agency with the justice authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, approve its Charter and organizational structure.

At the first stage, the activities of the Agency "KazAID "will be aimed at establishing cooperation with a number of major donor organizations – "MASHAV" (Israel), USAID (USA), GIZ (Germany), AFD (France), TICA (Turkey), LSA (Japan), KOISA (South Korea), etc., through the conclusion of relevant bilateral and multilateral cooperation agreements.
To date, a list of 13 priority projects of official development assistance has been formed, which provide assistance to Afghanistan and Central Asian countries in the creation of Public Service Centers and Business Support Centers, the introduction of an "E-Government" system, the rational use of water resources and the modernization of existing water supply systems, and professional development.
