Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on Wednesday signed a decree to set Jan. 10, 2021 as the date for the next election of the parliament's lower house, or Majilis

The next elections to the Mazhilis, the Lower House of the Kazakh Parliament elected through the party lists were scheduled for January 10, 2021. The decree was signed by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The members from the Kazakhstan’s Ethnic Assembly will be elected the next day, on January 11.
