The Consul General met with the First Vice-Rector of the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage «Silk Road»

March 7, 2025 Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Samarkand Talgat Sharipov held a meeting with the First Vice Rector of the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage “Silk Road” Dilmurod Nasimov.

The parties discussed issues of scientific-educational, academic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation, expressed interest in holding joint events, and also noted the importance of expanding ties in the field of education, including through direct inter-university contacts.

Dilmurod Nasimov informed about the history of creation and development of the University, carried out large-scale scientific and practical works, granting grants to foreign citizens to study in the Master's program (currently 8 Kazakhstani Master's students are studying under the grant).

In turn, the Consul General noted the readiness to provide comprehensive support to initiatives aimed at strengthening scientific, educational, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.
