The Consulate General organized a meeting with the Director of the International Institute of Central Asian Studies and Kazakhstani undergraduates of the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage

On February 26, 2025, the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Samarkand hosted a meeting between Evren Rutbil, Director of the International Institute of Central Asian Studies (MITSAI), and Kazakhstani undergraduates studying at the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage on a grant basis in the fields of tourism and archeology.

Evren Rutbil informed about the history of the institute's establishment and its areas of activity, including ongoing research projects. He also explained in detail about the possibility of undergraduates participating in various projects, volunteering, internships, using the scientific potential and material and technical base of the institute in the research work of Kazakhstani undergraduates.

In turn, Consul General Talgat Sharipov expressed his sincere gratitude to E.Rutbil for the informative lecture and urged undergraduates to take advantage of the opportunities kindly provided by MITSUI.

Following the meeting, the parties reached an agreement on further close cooperation in order to strengthen comprehensive cooperation.
