The Consul General met with Kazakhstani Master's students

On 24 January 2025, Talgat Sharipov, Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Samarkand met with Kazakh master's students studying under a grant at the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage «Silk Road».

During the meeting Talgat Sharipov emphasised the importance of receiving quality education and urged the Master students to actively participate in various educational and cultural initiatives aimed at developing their professional skills during the learning process.

Also, the Consul General informed the master students in detail about the activities of the Consulate General, the need to register Kazakhstani citizens on the consular register and the mandatory compliance with the national legislation of Uzbekistan, as well as answered their questions.

At present 8 Kazakhstani citizens are studying at the International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage «Silk Road» under the grant. Every year, under a bilateral intergovernmental agreement, citizens of Kazakhstan are allocated state educational grants to study in higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
