The Consul General held a meeting with the editor-in-chief of the joint editorial office of “Zarafshon” in Samarkand region

January 15, 2025 Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Samarkand Talgat Sharipov held a meeting with the editor-in-chief of the joint editorial office of “Zarafshon” and “Samarkand Vestnik” in Samarkand region Farmon Tashev.
The Consul General noted the broad cooperation between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation in the information space, and an agreement was reached to publish informative and cognitive articles on economic, tourism, cultural and humanitarian topics in order to further rapprochement of the two peoples, who share a common history and religion.
