Meeting of the Consul General with the First Deputy Head of the Investment and Foreign Trade Department of Samarkand Region

On 18 June 2025, Talgat Sharipov, Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Samarkand met with Sheroz Sobirov, First Deputy Head of Investment and Foreign Trade Department of Samarkand region.

During the meeting the state and prospects of development of trade-economic and investment co-operation between the regions of Kazakhstan and Samarkand region were discussed. It was noted that our countries have all necessary tools and opportunities to increase the volume and expand the nomenclature of mutual trade.

Special attention was paid to the promotion of joint investment projects in various sectors of the economy. Consul General informed about the state support for attracting investment in Kazakhstan, including on the basis of public-private partnership mechanisms.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to maintain close contacts in all mutually beneficial areas of cooperation, and an agreement was reached to organise joint activities aimed at increasing mutual supply of products between the regions of Kazakhstan and Samarkand region.
