Nationals of Kazakhstan in Italy vote in parliamentary and local elections

19 March 2023 Rome. Polling Station 245 at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Rome began working at 7 am local time. Citizens of Kazakhstan started coming to vote in the elections to the Majilis (lower chamber of Parliament) of Parliament and Maslikhats (local representative bodies) from early morning.

Voters included Kazakh citizens working in Italy, students, tourists from our country, etc. Apart from Rome, they came from different Italian regions.

Besides, the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Italy organised a mobile ballot box to Milan to ensure the participation of Kazakh students in the elections.

The Embassy of Kazakhstan took all necessary measures to ensure the openness and transparency of the voting process, uninterrupted operation of the polling station, as well as the safety of the citizens of Kazakhstan.
