Ambassador of Kazakhstan invited the CEO of Saudi EXIM Bank to the Astana International Forum

 

On March 28, 2023, H.E. Mr. Berik Aryn, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Saudi Arabia, held a meeting with H.E. Eng. Saad Alkhalb, the CEO of Saudi EXIM Bank.

During the meeting, the Kazakh Ambassador, on behalf of the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi, invited the CEO of Saudi EXIM to participate in the Astana International Forum, scheduled for June 8-9, 2023.

In addition, the parties discussed issues of expanding bilateral cooperation in the trade, economic, and investment fields. In particular, they noted the importance of increasing trade volume by creating conditions for the two countries' business communities in export-import insurance and financing joint projects.

Special attention was paid to the establishment of cooperation between the financial institutions of the two states. The Kazakh side informed about the activities of the Astana International Financial Center and invited Saudi EXIM Bank to use the AIFC platform as a regional center for business and finance.
