Ambassador of Kazakhstan met with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia

On March 30, 2022, H.E. Mr. Adel Al-Jubeir, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, received H.E. Mr. Berik Aryn, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, the diplomats discussed issues on the development of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia, including the interaction between the countries within the framework of interregional cooperation.

Besides, H.E. Mr. Berik Aryn informed about the current political situation in Kazakhstan and briefed on the main highlights of the State-of-the-Nation Address by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev entitled «New Kazakhstan: the path of renewal and modernization». In this context, Ambassador underlined the reforms initiated by President that provide for important political and social - economic transformations in the country and society as a whole.

Kazakhstan diplomat expressed gratitude to the Government and people of Saudi Arabia for support and solidarity during January tragic events in Kazakhstan.
The Minister of State Adel Al-Jubeir noted the importance of intensifying Kazakh-Saudi cooperation in all areas.
The parties agreed to continue joint efforts to develop and strengthen friendly relations between Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia.
