“Nauryz” spring feast celebrated in Riyadh

On March 5, 2022, the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Saudi Arabia took part in the festival dedicated to the upcoming Nauryz feast, organized in Riyadh's Diplomatic quarter in cooperation with the Embassies of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan to Saudi Arabia.

Over 500 people attended the event, including city residents, diplomatic missions accredited in Riyadh, government members, representatives from different Saudi and foreign companies, and mass media. 

The event guests had the opportunity to get familiar with national dishes and attributes of Kazakh culture, including Kazakh handicrafts, national costumes, and national music and dance performances.

H.E. Mr. Berik Aryn, in his welcoming speech, noted the importance of holding such cultural events, which contribute to the consolidation and rapprochement of the brotherly peoples.   

The Nauryz celebration was the first big event of the post-COVID-19 period in Riyadh jointly organized by the embassies of Turkic-speaking states accredited in the Kingdom.
