On 14 October 2020, H.E. Mr. Berik Aryn, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Saudi Arabia, met with H.E. Eng. Waleed Elkhereiji, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, Ambassador Berik Aryn congratulated the newly appointed Vice Minister and wished him every success in his mission, as well as confirmed Kazakhstan's interest in further strengthening political, trade, investment, cultural and humanitarian cooperation with the Kingdom.

H.E. Eng. Waleed Elkhereiji assured of the readiness of Saudi Arabia to comprehensively develop cooperation with Kazakhstan, which is considered as the leading country in Central Asia.

Besides, the parties discussed current issues of Kazakh-Saudi cooperation and agreed to make joint efforts to expand friendly relations between the two countries.
