The Ambassador of Kazakhstan expressed gratitude to the Latvian Togyzkumalak Federation for participation in the V World Nomad Games

Riga, October 9, 2024 - In the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Latvia, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan Dauren Karipov met with the head of the Latvian Federation of Togyzkumalak and the Club of board intellectual games “Logika” Lubov Azimova and the strongest Latvian athlete in nomadic intellectual sports Karina Alekseeva.

During the conversation Lubov Azimova informed about the participation of the Latvian side in the V World Nomad Games in Astana - 5 athletes from the Latvian Togyzkumalak Federation, who at the end of the competition won a bronze medal in the intellectual game “Mangala”.

She highly appreciated the World Nomad Games held, shared her pleasant impressions about their scale and spectacularity of the competitions. She emphasized the opportunity for the parties to demonstrate their nomadic culture and identity. According to her, the Latvian athletes felt the unity of Turkic-speaking countries and the strength of spirit of the Kazakh people.

Ambassador of Kazakhstan Dauren Karipov thanked Lubov Azimova and her team for their significant contribution to the popularization and development of the Kazakh national intellectual game in Latvia and congratulated them on the bronze medal.
