The Ambassador of Kazakhstan met with the management of the "Latvian Railways"

Riga, September, 26, 2024 – Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Latvia Dauren Karipov held a meeting with Artis Grinbergs, Chairman of the Board of the Latvian Railways.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged information on the development of national railway networks, the volume of domestic and international traffic. At the same time, the Kazakh diplomat paid special attention to the formation of new transport flows along the ‘East-West’ axis through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the additional transport and logistics infrastructure being created in this regard.

The parties agreed on the great untapped potential of the two countries in matters of cooperation in the field of rail transport and agreed to continue dialogue in this direction, including within the framework of the 27th Kazakhstan International Exhibition ‘Transport and Logistics’ on 9-11 October 2024 in Astana.
