Kazakhstan and Latvia expand cooperation in the field of culture and museums

Riga, August 7, 2024 – Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Latvia Dauren Karipov met with the Director of the Latvian Ethnographic Museum Zanda Kergalve.

During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of Kazakh-Latvian cooperation in the field of culture and museum business, as well as the issue of holding a museum exhibition of unique exhibits from the collection of the Association of Museums of Almaty next spring within the framework of twinning relations between Riga and Almaty, which have existed for more than 25 years.

The Kazakh diplomat emphasised that Kazakh-Latvian relations in the field of cultural and humanitarian cooperation demonstrate active dynamics of development.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed on close co-operation in this area.
