Kazakhstan and Latvia are interested in opening new regular flights

On 6 August this year, Kazakhstan's Ambassador to Latvia Dauren Karipov met with Svetlana Abashkina, Vice President of the Latvian national airline "airBaltic".

During the meeting the parties discussed in detail the issue of resumption of passenger and cargo air transportations between Kazakhstan and Latvia.

The parties confirmed their interest in the restoration of air services in order to promote further development of trade, economic, business and tourism co-operation between the two countries.
