Archival institutions of Kazakhstan and Latvia signed Memorandum of co-operation

On 8 April 2024, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed in Riga between the National Archives of the Republic of Latvia and the RSI "Central State Archives of Scientific and Technical Documentation" of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The parties agreed to develop and strengthen co-operation between Kazakhstan and Latvia in the archival sphere, as well as to intensify interaction and implement joint projects in the direction of the archival institutions of the two countries. In this regard, Kazakhstani experts have already started practical research and development work within the framework of the comprehensive programme "Archives - 2025".
