Archival institutions of Kazakhstan and Latvia are expanding forms of cooperation

Riga, March 29, 2024 – The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Latvia received the Kazakh delegation of the Republican State Institution “Central State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation” of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which arrived in Riga for the purpose of scientific research work under the comprehensive program “Archive - 2025.”

Deputy Director of the Republican State Institution Meruert Beisembayeva informed about the progress of archival work in the National Archive, the State Historical Archive, the Special Library of State Archives and other institutions of the Republic of Latvia, as well as the planned signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the state archives of the two countries.
