Latvia's participation in the V World Nomad Games was discussed

 Riga, February 2, 2024 - At the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Latvia, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of Kazakhstan Dauren Karipov and the head of the Latvian Federation Togyzkumalak and the Club of Board Intellectual Games “Logic” Lyubov Azimova.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the participation of the Latvian side in the V World Nomad Games, which will take place on September 8-14, 2024 in Astana, as well as the prospects for bilateral cooperation on the comprehensive development of the national intellectual game of the Kazakh people “Togyzkumalak” in Latvia.

L. Azimova reported that interest in the game “Togyzkumalak” in Latvia is steadily growing among young people, and to participate in the V World Nomad Games in the capital of Kazakhstan, athletes are currently being trained in the types of games togyzkumalak, ovar, mangala, noting that the selection in team will take place in April 2024.

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador of Kazakhstan Dauren Karipov thanked Lyubov Azimova for her significant contribution to the promotion and development of the Kazakh national intellectual game in Latvia and wished her success in the upcoming competitions.
