Stevedores of Latvia invited Kazakhstani companies to cooperate in ports

On 31 January 2024, the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Latvia hosted a meeting with the management of the Association of Stevedoring Companies of Latvia - leading infrastructure and logistics companies in the ports of Riga, Ventspils and Liepaja.

Representatives of Latvian business confirmed interest in long-term co-operation and expansion of direct contacts with Kazakhstani producers. They expressed readiness for new forms of bilateral trade and economic interaction and proposed to implement a number of joint projects.

In turn, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan Dauren Karipov informed about plans to further deepen and develop Kazakh-Latvian cooperation, including by more fully unlocking the transit and transport potential of the two states.
